Lauren was born in Medford, MA, just outside of Boston. Lauren grew up in a loving family with two sisters, a mother who worked for Hallmark Cards for 30 years, and a father who, after retiring from the U.S. Air Force in 1972, owned his own paint and wallpaper company.
Lauren grew up playing sports, and eventually took her athletic talents to Framingham State University, where she played both soccer and lacrosse. She graduated with bachelor’s degree in geography before relocating to the West Coast, where she lived for a few years, working as a courtroom clerk in Oregon.
When Lauren returned to the East Coast, she met her husband and the couple soon moved to the beautiful coastal town of Kittery Point, in Southern Maine. Lauren and her husband enjoy spending time with their amazing neighbors. Along with their dog, Bruno, they walk to the ocean from their home. Recently, Lauren and her husband welcomed their son Jacob to the world.
Lauren is familiar with grief. In 2009, her father passed away from lung cancer. Her sister has battled ovarian cancer.
“I understand how cancer can be overwhelming and stressful to everyone involved. … If I can take any burden off one person and give them some relief, it is a good feeling.”
A kind, loyal, and funny individual, Lauren was raised to be caring and compassionate toward others. In working with patients, Lauren believes that everyone should get the help and support they need. Lauren says, “When I speak with patients, I know it’s someone’s mom, spouse, sibling, or child.” Accordingly, Lauren believes in “treating people the way I would want my family to be treated.”
For 10 years, Lauren has focused on providing families compassion and understanding.
Lauren looks forward to hearing your story and providing guidance during this difficult time.
